I am a bilingual Mental Health Counselor, fluent in English and Chinese. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe everyone has the capacity to overcome challenges and create meaningful change. Whether you are just starting to think about making changes or are ready to take the next step, I will meet you where you are. I draw on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Client-Centered Therapy. Together, we will work toward your goals by understanding your needs and concerns, developing more adaptive thought patterns, leveraging your strengths, and utilizing practical strategies.
I earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. I previously trained at Mosaic Mental Health, where I provided individual, group, and family therapy for clients coming from diverse cultural backgrounds.
I specialize in working with adults and adolescents facing depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, life transitions, and self-growth and identity challenges. In therapy, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we focus on helping you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools to move forward.
