Tarah is a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. She has a passion for supporting children, teens, and their families to navigate the challenges of life, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers.

She specializes in child and adolescent techniques but is also efficient in a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, trauma, transitions and adjustments and grief. Tarah is bilingual and speaks English and Tagalog.

Tarah describes herself as having a down-to-earth nature, sense of humor, and personable demeanor. She has an eclectic approach, utilizing various theoretical approaches and real life experience. She caters her approach to each client’s individual therapeutic needs.  Additionally, Tarah is trained in Grief Counseling, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
