Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment, and where we can work together toward meaningful change.
I hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice and have experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, as well as people navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and moments of crisis. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and holistic perspectives.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. Rather than telling you what you “should” do, I want to understand your experiences, identify what is getting in the way, and work with you to find strategies that feel realistic and meaningful to your life. Together, we can build on your strengths, work through challenges, and take steps toward the goals that matter to you.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Wherever you are right now, I’m here to meet you there.
