About
Kerem

I am a Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) in New York State. My approach is psychodynamic and attachment-informed, and I integrate CBT and person-centered techniques to help clients understand the recurring patterns shaping their relationships and sense of self. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and questions of identity, and I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care rooted in cultural humility. I'm bilingual in English and Turkish, and I bring genuine cross-cultural sensitivity to my work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades as a flight attendant, where I learned to stay calm under pressure and connect quickly with people from all walks of life, skills I now bring into the therapy room.
