I am a Mental Health Counselor committed to providing equitable, whole-person care that meets the unique needs of diverse and underserved populations. My approach is grounded in cultural responsiveness, empathy, and evidence-based practices, with a strong focus on supporting marginalized communities, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and people experiencing housing instability. I have experience working with clients navigating Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), communication challenges, adjustment issues, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My counseling style is collaborative and strengths-based, empowering clients to take an active role in their healing process while developing practical tools for resilience and self-awareness.
With over a decade of experience in program leadership and an MSEd in School Counseling, along with advanced training in Mental Health Counseling, I bring both administrative insight and clinical expertise to the therapeutic relationship. My work is guided by a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and the belief that meaningful change happens in spaces rooted in trust and authenticity. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
