Do you feel that anxiety (especially in social or performance-based situations), depression, or life transitions are holding you back from accomplishing your goals and/or causing you excessive emotional distress?
Taking the first step to speak with a therapist about sensitive struggles can seem scary. Because of this, my primary goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and empathetically supported.
Before becoming a clinician, I spent time as an undergraduate psychology professor. Teaching others about mental health deeply sharpened my own understanding of these struggles and further fueled my powerful passion for helping people navigate them.
In practice, I don't view clients as a collection of symptoms. Rather, they are individuals who need clinical help tailored specifically to them. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, with a focus on your goals.
I use practical techniques like Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness-Based, and Exposure Therapies to help you build real-world tools for growth. The overarching goal is to equip you with the tools to navigate these challenges and to help you become the best version of yourself.
I look forward to working together to help you meet your therapeutic goals and enhance your overall well-being!
