My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood, while also offering tools to help you reach your goals. I believe therapy doesn't always have to feel heavy, and sometimes use humor to make the process feel more comfortable.
I hold a Mental Health Counseling degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and have experience working in an outpatient clinic, where I’ve supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges. My background includes working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and difficulties managing their emotions or impulses.
Drawing from evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing, allows us to focus on developing effective coping skills and on helping you to align your behaviors with what it is you truly value. We’ll explore your experiences and build on your strengths to create lasting change and help you meet life's challenges with greater confidence.
