I’m Amber Wang, a psychotherapist with an integrative approach that blends psychodynamic insight, cognitive behavioral strategies, and DBT-informed tools to support meaningful and lasting change. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, identity concerns, and emotional dysregulation. My work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and the belief that trust and emotional safety are the foundation for transformation.
I see therapy as both a place for reflection and a catalyst for action. With compassion and clinical precision, I help clients challenge unhelpful patterns, reframe limiting beliefs, and reconnect with their inner clarity and resilience. Whether you’re facing everyday stressors or deep-rooted struggles, I bring a steady, collaborative presence to each session.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester and am currently practicing under supervision as I complete my licensure in New York State. My background includes experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and I offer sessions in both English and Mandarin.
